I am a board certified doctor of physical therapy that went against the grain and started My Concierge PT 2 months after I passed my board exam in 2019. I do 1 on 1 orthopedic physical therapy at my clinic location or in the comfort of your own home. Its bringing the outpatient clinic directly to your front door. I separate my self because not only am I a licensed PT but I also completed a 1 year specialty Orthopedic Residency program. An article published by Oxford University stated that a mere 12% of graduating doctors of physical therapy apply for residency and even a smaller amount get accepted and graduate. I am going to make this new up and coming niche in physical therapy my foundation and continue to build it brick by brick until it becomes a home. I hope to one day change the outlook of what jobs you can get following the graduation of physical therapy school and choose to bet on yourself, with the plans of possibly help someone in need reach their goals and improve their quality of life.
